I’d like to renovate my home’s interiors. Do I need an Interior Designer or an Architect?
While of course this depends on the overall scope of the project, I’d suggest you start with an Interior Designer. We’re qualified to draft floor plans and create design layouts, as well as design electrical , lighting and plumbing layouts, and so much more.
If you plan to move load-bearing walls, then we may need to consult with an architect or engineer.
I only have a vague idea of what we’d like. Is it too soon to contact you?
Not at all! With over 20-years’ experience, we understand that choosing a style or just knowing where to start can be hard. Part of our service involves presenting you with new ideas based on your lifestyle and your space and helping you to clarify what you’d love your home to look like.
I can’t decide on fixtures and fittings, or I don’t have time to go out and hunt through stores. Is this included in your service?
Yes, absolutely. We understand that deciding on fixtures and fittings, especially when you’d like to create a cohesive design, can be overwhelming and time consuming. That’s why we’ll curate a selection of fixtures and fittings for you to choose from, based on our initial design consultation and follow-up discussions. The same goes for colour palettes and even furnishing! We want this process to be as easy on you as possible.
Do you have your own tradespeople, or will I need to find my own?
We do. We have wonderful, longstanding relationships with some brilliant builders, tradespeople and suppliers across Sydney. They understand how we work and are committed to giving Brilliant Design Concepts’ clients the best experience and highest quality workmanship possible.
I have my own tradespeople. Can I use them, or do I have to use BDCs trades?
Whilst we prefer to work with our established trades partners, we’d be more than happy to work with your preferred tradespeople if you have them.
I only want part of my house renovated, say the kitchen, the bathroom or the lighting design. Do you offer these services as well?

How much do you charge?
Because of how involved we are with each renovation, and how much one renovation can differ to the next, we don’t offer flat prices. Instead, we’ll provide you with a personal proposal as part of our Initial Design Consultation.
