Colour! What’s it all about?
Everyone loves colour but are usually too afraid to use it. Especially when it comes to our homes. Why do you think that is?
I think that any colour can be used anywhere and with any other colour. I can hear the screams – “NO WAY!” But, if you think about it, the proportion of colour is the key to create the balance. A totally black or red room would probably send you mad, whereas a black floor would not.
#1 – The Black Room. Dramatic for some, gloomy for others. I couldn’t live with this room.
#2 – In the white room, the black floor grounds this room. The balance is right. I would feel comfortable in this room with a bit more colour.
#3 – Getting the balance right. Mix it up! Gorgeous!
