Cherel Millist, the founder and principal interior designer started building her design career in 1998, which has grown into a busy interior design studio servicing customers across the Lower North Shore Sydney.
Cherel is an Accredited Designer of the Design Institute of Australia (DIA) and a Certified Kitchen and Bathroom Designer with the Kitchen and Bathroom Design Institute of Australia (KBDI).
With over twenty years of experience Cherel has built a reputation to deliver innovative design that reflect individuality and functionality to establish Brilliant Design Concepts as a lead player in the Design Industry.

Cherel is not your ‘typical’ designer. She didn’t find herself in the world of design by a happy accident, or because of a love for furnishings. Rather, she found her way into Interior Design because of a simple question, “How does that work?”
Like so many of us, Cherel set out to bring some personality to her own space thinking, “well I can do that”, only to discover it was a lot more complicated than she originally thought.
Not one to let a challenge get in her way, she dove into the how’s and why’s of design and construction. Never satisfied to simply let something be done, she determined to truly understand how the building and renovation process worked, every step of the way.
Cherel’s everlasting curiosity, minute attention to detail and love for problem solving means she’s able to beautifully combine her creative understanding of interiors with practical solutions.
And it’s this unique approach that allows Cherel to create spaces that are not just beautiful, but also intuitive, functional and personal.
Cherel is an accredited designer of the Design Institute of Australia (DIA) and a Certified Kitchen and Bathroom Designer with the Kitchen and Bathroom Design Institute of Australia (KBDI).
She also sits on the NSW Committee for the KBDI and acts as a mentor to some of Sydney’s best up & coming designers.
